My name is Amy and I live in Northern Ohio. I had the pleasure of seeing Lisa speak this past weekend at a Christian womens conference call "God Girls In Motion." I got so blessed this weekend!!! My name is Ellie. I'm a single mother of one three year old boy. I work in the mortgage industry. I love to read, write poetry and make handbeaded bracelets, necklaces and earrings. I attend a small local church, in which I hope to become more active. I work outside of the city so it's been a little difficult to get really involved, but my schedule is easing up, and I find that I have more time now and have the option to make more time as I need. I'm excited about that!

I'm a high school science teacher but I plan to quit in the next year or so to become a SAH mom and homeschool teacher. I have been married to my wonderful husband, Josh, for almost 11 years. We have 3 wonderful boys, ages 8, 7, and 15 months. We live in Jefferson, OR. I am a stay at home mom and a fulltime student at a community college. We attend a church plant in Salem, OR. It is non-denominational. I am not very fond of reading but would like to start and this sounds like a good place to start. I would like to grow in my faith.

Hello, My name is Colleen and I have been married to my wonderful husband Michael for over 20 years. We have 4 wonderful children, a daughter who is 28, married and blessed us with a grandson a year ago. We have 3 boys that are 23-studying to be a Chiropractor, 19-in the army and 18-doing mechanic work till he is old enough to be a prison guard. I have been saved for 22 years and enjoy reading, bible study and children.
I worked part time as my children were growing up, hubby was with them when I was not, so we never had childcare. I stayed home as often as possible, homeschooled the 2 youngest and am now currenlty working as a nanny.
I also have 3 step children who have blessed us with 5 grand daughters and 3 grandsons

Hi there. My name is Ginger, and I have three children of my own: Jon Paul, who is 17 and will be leaving in about 10 days to go to school at Ole Miss on an Army ROTC scholarship. Lauren is 16 and will start her junior year in high school on Monday. Kelly is 12 and wants to be an actress...she starts the 7th grade on Monday, and we have been working on her acting career this summer.

I am married to Jimmy, and we'll have our third anniversary this November. Jimmy has two children: Kristen, who is 26 and lives in New Orleans (my home town) and Jimmy III, who is 19 and will start his second year at Vanderbilt this year. Two weeks before we got married, we took in Kristen's daughter, Kelsey, who was 3 at the time. We have been raising her ever since (she will be 6 in Sept and starts 1st grade on Monday). She has some major issues (ADHD only being one of them), but we're doing our best. Kristen has since had another child, Cayden, and he is 8 months old. So, the kids we have at home now are 19, 17, 16, 12 and 5, and they will be in FIVE different schools this year!!

We attend Hope Presbyterian Church, and they have an awesome Women's Ministry. I'll be starting my 4th Beth Moore study next month, When Godly People Do Ungodly Things. I am a flight attendant for Delta Air Lines based in New York City, and I work for my husband's company here in Memphis when I'm not flying. I don't have much "down" time, but when I'm commuting to work in NYC or on a layover, I LOVE to read. Am I missing something, or is there not a book being read on here right now?

Sorry I've rambled, but I've never been a part of anything like this, and I'm very excited! Can't wait to get started...

Hey everyone,

My name is Kristen, and I am looking forward to this, although I don't think I'm very good at it yet. These forums and discussion boards have always been a little tricky to me. Let's see...where to start....I am happily married, and I have three children (correction---three teenagers) so I need all the prayers I can get. Oh yes, I did I mention that they are homeschooled also. They all enjoy it (most days), and I do as well. I must say that I cheat a little because I have them enrolled in a distance learning program, and I'm there if they need me. I am a registered nurse also so my life is pretty hectic most days. What can I say though...God has definitely blessed us---of this I am sure! I enjoy reading so I am looking forward to the next book.

My name is Mary & I'm originally from Alabama . I've been married to my wonderful husband for 4 years this June. I am the proud mother of a 2 year old son that we adopted from Guatemala & in the process of bringing home our second son from Ethiopia. What a blessing!!!! I have almost finished Lisa's "Taking Care of the Me in Mommy" & LOVED it!!!! I've always wanted to take part in a "book club" & I thought this was the perfect time to get started!

Then I expected to start receiving emails on my topic from Lisa.

But for some reason- I am not getting any emails.

Can someone tell me why I have not received them.

After reading the book- this was something I knew I needed and was saddened that it wasnt happening.

My name is Stephanie and I am a young professional in my early 30's, married and have a 3 year old son. I am trying to re-ignite my passion for my Christian faith as I lost it along the way, since I left university (despite attending a Christian one), hopefully I will find some help here Smile

I signed up in hope that there was a forum that discussed the new book about friendships. I received my copy recently and had the opportunity to read it over this weekend and enjoyed the content, despite the fact that I never read such genre in books. Could someone please direct me to the forum site if one does exist.
